I had been reading Hellblazer comics series when I drew this. I ended up liking it so much I drew the main character just for fun. I wanted to capture the smug yet aloof personality of the character in the pose and the facial expression. Kind of a, “Don’t get too close, I’ll only break your heart,” sort of vibe that I wanted to portray and to which I think I achieved.
